The Golden Morning Light of Playa del Carmen Mexico

Returning to Playa del Carmen yesterday, from a cold grey November in London I was struck by the luminous golden light at the magic hour heading back from the airport. There is something I find really magical about this kind of light, and I think I first began to photograph it on the beach here in the early morning on the Riviera Maya. Here is a film I made some years ago set to the wonderful music of Philp Glass from his score of 'The Hours'
Now that I am back here I will continue to explore the cinematic beauty of this part of the world.
